Leadership Team Training
As the movement to foster diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces flourishes, companies are keen to engage or to accelerate progress. That starts with leadership.
DEI Benefits, Barriers and Best Practice is a tailored-to-industry workshop providing leaders the opportunity to reflect on the business case and how it relates to their firm, the systemic barriers and cultural contributors that impede progress, and local and global best practice to overcome resistant challenges.
This practical, interactive session invites senior leaders to deeply engage in all aspects of DEI – from the commercial to the personal. It encourages leaders to take the first step in co-creating contemporary, high-performing workplace cultures where all can thrive.
“Your authentic and engaging presentation kept the audience captive and inspired a number of leaders to reflect deeply on the issue of ‘D and I’, a noteworthy accomplishment that has opened the door to many new opportunities.”
Fannie Jacques, Vice President, Human Resources, Canada, ABB inc.
Co-creating Inclusive Cultures: Engaging Men
Co-creating Inclusive Cultures: Engaging Men is an experiential program inviting senior male leaders to deeply reflect on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) – an opportunity to consider the rationale, to explore the challenges and to co-create thoughtful, sustainable solutions. Informed by contemporary research and powered by personal stories, the program delivers:
- greater understanding of the evidence-based benefits to diversity, equity and inclusion
- deep understanding of the barriers to DEI and interventions to interrupt them
- self-awareness, in particular around beliefs – how they’re formed and how they influence our behaviours at work
- capability building to transform team and organisational culture.
“The Engaging Men program helped us identify previously unnoticed influences and biases. We learned from the many insights shared with peers. Keeping the implementation of diversity and inclusion measures on the agenda, together with supportive role modelling, is leading to positive change at DP.”
Will Wright, Managing Director, Douglas Partners
Co-creating Inclusive Cultures: Inspiring Women
Women comprise almost half the workforce, yet the further they rise, the fewer their number and influence.
What happens during their tenure that leads to so few women at the top? And what can women do, in conjunction with firm leaders, to ensure better outcomes?
Grounded in evidence on social and systemic barriers, this interactive workshop helps women aspiring to leadership to:
- Reflect on the benefits of more diverse cultures – in the workplace and beyond
- Understand gender diversity barriers and how to win support to overcome them
- Engage colleagues of all genders on the issue of diversity
- Create a community of like-minded colleagues to advance a culture of inclusion and leverage its strengths.
